Sizing Guide

Sizing is SO Important...

Making sure that you choose & wear correctly sized nails is absolutely fundamental for ensuring longevity, comfortability & a great appearance.

A good indication that you're wearing the right size is if the press on fits over your natural nail, side wall to side wall, without any pinching or over-hanging onto your skin. When applying them, they should slip on nicely without you having to exert pressure in order to 'flatten' then onto your natural nail.

Regardless of how well the nails were made and how well you've prepped your nail beds, they'll undoubtedly be prone to premature lifting or completely popping off if you're wearing the wrong size.

Using a Sizing Kit is the BEST Way...

If you're a total newbie to press on nails, it's advisable for you to purchase a sizing kit in your desired shape & length before ordering your new set.

This way, the possibility of human error that could arise from using other methods is minimised; AKA: you should get a perfect fit! Additionally, you can get a feel for how the shape looks and check you're happy with the length.

Below, you can purchase your kit; they're super easy to use & the whole process doesn't take long at all. After you've received your kit & measured up, choose the set of nails you wish to purchase & leave your sizes in the 'order special requirements' box at checkout.

BUT, you can Measure at Home:

Measuring your nail width manually will not be as accurate as using a sizing kit, but it is a totally viable option if it suits you best!

The 'tape method' required some clear tape, a ruler & a thin marker.

1. Place a piece of transparent tape over your natural nail, making sure it's stuck flat with no air bubbles.

2. Use the pen to draw a little line at either side of your nail, across the widest part, exactly where your nail meets the skin.

3. Finally, stick the tape to a flat surface & measure the space between with the ruler. Record your measurements & pop the in the 'order special requirements' box at checkout.

Not too Keen on Knowing Your Exact Sizes (for whatever reason...)?

The option to choose from pre-set sizes small, medium & large is always available. These are generic sizes that commonly fit a wide range of people - many avid press on users wear these with no problem, having never actually measured their nails.

Small: 2, 6, 5, 6, 9 (15mm, 11mm, 12mm, 11mm, 8mm)

Medium: 1, 5, 4, 5, 8 (16mm, 12mm, 13mm, 12mm, 9mm)

Large: 1, 4, 3, 4, 7 (18mm, 13mm, 14mm, 13mm, 10mm)

Please take note that if you've ordered pre-set sizes from other retailers, there is no guarantee that their sizes will be inline with the ones provided here.

What the Sizes & Measurements Mean:

The width across the widest part of your natural nail corresponds to the size tip that will be used. The larger the width, the lower the size of the tip will be: for example, a thumb measuring 18mm would be a size 0, and vice versa.

Below is a diagram showing you how the number on the tip corresponds to millimetres.

If you require a tip smaller than 8mm, don't hesitate to ask! Tips can be custom-shaped to fit you perfectly.
